The Ruby on Rails Senior Developer will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art web and e-commerce applications using the latest technologies and being able to further grow your skills in your preferred technologies.
Your activities:
Develop eCommerce applications with a worldwide, international client base and a hundred thousand products while using the latest technologies. The eCommerce environment is further using high-density SEO and detailed Business Analysis to optimize the performance and revenue of the web shop.
This enables you to further grow your skills in your preferred technologies and gain experience with big international eCommerce systems. Help our European and Singaporean clients with your technical expertise in a team of experienced and dynamic colleagues.
- Develop backend software for web applications
- Work with the latest Ruby and Rails versions and Customer Trust-building service
- Create Software Architecture/Design Specifications based on requirements
- Work in agile teams with our top-notch skilled colleagues
- Develop yourself by deepening your skills
- Work with international customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience with Ruby on Rails and 3 years of web programming experience
- Experience working with MySQL, NoSQL, or other database systems
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery)
- Experience with HTML, CSS en JavaScript (jQuery)
- Nice to have experience with a frontend framework like React.js or Vue.js
- Good English writing and speaking skills
